At the invitation of the British Ambassador, Kumar Iyer, along with Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Norway, the UN Human Rights Council held a session on Friday, 11/14/2025, on the violations in the city of El Fasher. The Council unanimously adopted a resolution mandating the Independent Fact-Finding Mission, which was formed by the Council on 10/11/2023, to investigate the violations committed in the city, where the Council ordered it to identify all those involved, to help bring them to justice. Continuing its approach of rejecting this mission since its formation, the Minister of Justice, Abdullah Darf, announced,
